PHILOSOPHY
Jayavati is a holistic approach to physical, mental, and spiritual well-being. Living in harmony with ourselves, with others, and with the Earth is the key to health and happiness. By walking the path of compassion to self-discovery, we can access our akashic wisdom and return to a closer connection with Nature. Through physical practice and conscious living, we can bring the mind, body, and soul into a state of balance, cultivating true inner peace. Take it one step at a time, and enjoy the journey!

HATHA LEVEL 1
For students interested in a traditional yoga class.
A comprehensive, balanced practice with a steady flow, attention to breath, relaxation between asanas, and guided instruction throughout.
First-time students are welcome.
HATHA LEVEL 2
For students who are experienced with basic hatha and are ready to move at a faster pace. New asana and kriya techniques will be introduced. This class has less instruction and less relaxation time; practices are held longer for an experience at a deeper level.
ADVANCED HATHA
For seasoned practitioners seeking opportunity to deepen all aspects of their practice. Asana sequences will challenge strength, balance, and flexibility. Advanced pranayama and kriya techniques will prepare mind and body for meditation. Students attending this class should feel comfortable practicing at the Integral 2/3 Level.
PILATES YOGA FUSION
An open level class that seamlessly blends dynamic yoga poses and mat pilates for an integrated experience. Receive all the benefits of core conditioning within a moving meditation. Some familiarity with either yoga or pilates is recommended for new students.
INTEGRAL YIN
MINDFUL YIN
A slow, still, and deeply introspective practice in which long-held poses create openings for inner exploration of the mind-body connection. The quiet nature of yin is conducive to fostering a meditative mindset, developing greater self-awareness and balancing the active, fiery yang energies that most of us cultivate to excess.
(Jayadevi and Santoshi alternate teaching each week.)
A quiet, in-drawn practice that uses steady, long-held postures that benefit the deeper “yin” connective tissues, such as the fascia, ligaments, tendons, bones, and joints. Though the practice is simple, it can be challenging in that the periods of stillness demand more attention to what is happening in the here and now.

Private mentoring sessions are an opportunity for you to deepen your practice by working one-on-one with a teacher who can devote full attention to your needs. The unique relationship developed through mentoring creates a container to hold us steady in the process of transformation, and provides the structure of accountability that allows the serious student to cultivate discipline for staying power in their own sadhana. If you have felt lost, unseen, or under-served in group classes, personal attention will help you find your path. Together we will co-create a practice tailored to your individual nature.
These sessions may be of exceptional benefit to you during this time that we are sheltering at home. Online group yoga classes can miss the feeling of true student/teacher connection, and often lack the advantages of having a teacher who can see every student and offer personal guidance and adjustments. Practicing only in this way can often lead to stagnation and allows for the repetition of unsafe patterns. My intention in offering personalized sessions is to enrich your experience of practicing at home, so that you are not merely maintaining, but continuing to find pathways for growth.
Our meetings will be held remotely, online, while social distancing is advisable.
